This is an original Winchester Model 88 rifle SN292XX made in 1956 and bought new in 1957. The stock is full length to the original butt plate with QD swivels on the original posts. I would call the stock 98% with minor handling marks as noted. There is a very small dingin the lower right edge of buttstock visible in picture. Otherwise the faintest of handling marks. Perfect bore. Bluing is 99% original factory brilliant polish with a tiny rub mark on the barrel midway down on top, about 1/16 in diameter. Clip has perfect bluing. Box is not matching in serial number and has oil stains in bottom. Payment by Cashier’s check or PO MO please. The Scope shown on rifle IS NOT INCLUDED AND NOT FOR SALE.
