1892 Winchester Saddle Ring Carbine with cresent buttplate and full magazine tube, 38-40, circa 1912. This is a beautiful and very accurate rifle. Bore is excellent and shiny throughout, like new. Rear barrel sight has 1 to 20 increments and two sliding aperatures, one is an ivory-like circle and the other is blued V notch. Wood is original finish and rates conservatively, 95%+. Barrel blue is 95%+. Mag tube is same as barrel but for a small 1/8" light pitting (the only place on rifle) near tube cap retaining screw. That is the worst feature of rifle. Receiver 90% blue with obligatory slight figure 8 saddle ring wear. There are light scratches on both sides of receiver that won't show up in photos and slight thinning at receiver bridge and underside near serial number. Color Case is clearly visable on lever and cresent buttplate. 15% area near tip of buttplate case color is worn off. Please email questions and for additional Pics. Payment by Cashiers Check or P.O. Money Order. Will need signed copy of FFL to ship.
