WTS, Desert Eagle 357 Magnum with 6" barrel and 2 magazines, $590 plus $25 for standard shipping from FFL on assumption payment is prompt via Overnight Mail. Price is is accounting for that assumption. Only items being sold are gun and magazines and generic box.
It is a Mark VII: same frame as Mark XIX but different uppers for different calibers. The slide is a little more compact than a Mark XIX's. At that time they optimized each slide for each caliber, whereas now with the Mark XIX's they have one slide do all jobs.
Near new condition cosmetically and mechanically. Sweet trigger, very clearly the finest DE trigger I've experienced myself (I've shot I believe 10 Desert Eagles.) Prettier visually than pictures, disposable camera and flash do no justice; right side pic is much the more accurate for how the finish looks both sides. The few very small spots of finish wear in barrel shown in pics are real and there is a medium obvious scratch mark on right front of barrel. I purchased it pre-owned and cannot say for a fact how many rounds had been through it. The chamber looks brand new and the bolt simply appears "fired" not much used. I put definitely much less than 1000 rounds through it, much closer to 500. It has new recoil springs. It is barely into its service life.
There is wear inside the frame where the recoil springs rub against it. I spoke with Magnum Research and they said this does not matter. I assume previous owner ran it dry at the springs; in my hands with good oil or grease no visible further wear occurred. There is no practical or functional issue and it is invisible when gun is assembled. You will not find a nicer-shooting DE than this one. The price has dropped to "fire sale" as the gun shoots and looks far above this present price level.

Private seller in Ocala, FL. I have been very active over the years in forums and bought a number of guns that way, and have bought via Guns America, but now I have to sell some guns.
