Serial # 33,xxx. All original with excellent wood to metalk fit. Excellent checkering that has NOT been "freshened". Remington hard rubber buttplate is excellent, free from cracks and NO "chip at the toe". Wood is about excellent with no major defects and just the lightest of use. No swivel holes. Front swivel is part of the forearm attachment screw. Blue has thinned and a pleasant faded blue/plum color. No scope mount holes or side mount holes. There is the usual single hole in the rear of the receiver for a tang sight. Excellent bore and action. This is a rare and clean old piece seldomly found, particularly in unmolested condition. Need current FFL (this gun is also C&R eligible) and payment in the form of money order or cashier's check. Shipping will be $30 to lower 48 (no international sales).
