Here's a vintage Colt 1911 that appears to have been made up for World War II. The receiver was manufactured during 1918 and was later fitted with a 1911A1 slide and other A1 parts. Both receiver and slide retain about 90% original finish. The barrel is a Springfield and is marked "SA". There is some patina mixed with the blue finish but there is no deep pitting. All markings are intact. The grips show wear and there is a little damage around the top left grip screw. The magazine is a post-WW2 type and the long trigger has a serrated face. The action is nice and tight and the bore is excellent. Included is a neat shoulder holster, with spare unmarked mag. Holster markings indicate use by at least three individuals in the defense of our country. Complete history will be provided to new owner. Ship to ffl or c&r.
