Here is a staple of ours, we try to always keep them to replace worn or damaged panels on trade in Tauruses we get from time to time, like the Israeli Police 99AF in the photos with a new set of Hogues. These are Hogue’s pure and simple replacement panels to fit any Taurus 92 or 99 Standard Size pistol, including the PT92AF, PT92AFS, PT99AF, and PT99AFS. They will not fit the older model Tauruses made before about 1983 with the European Magazine release at the bottom of the butt area. They are attractive enough, they don’t really ad any width to the already-fat pistols, and their soft rubber construction makes the Taurus handle better and gives more grip security during protracted shooting sessions and in foul, wet weather. Hogue even gives the buyer a third panel for the late 1980s variant Tauruses that did not decock, a spare left panel. The thing we like about them is the price.
