Gun comes with scope mount and Ironsight see-through rings. Also included is the original box, manual, very nice sling, and paper work. I will include the Marlin 39A Radocy Takedown guide. Gun was shipped back to Marlin for a scope mount installation, where Marlin put a 10MOA angle on the scope mount base. This gun also shoots CCI CB Longs and Colibri very well. Marlin shipped me some extra extractor parts per my request....I will include them. I am retiring and will be spending most my time in Canada. I am liquidating my inventory as I never renewed my FFL last year. I have fired a tube (20 rounds) of 22LR ammo through it before listing. This gun is really hard to find. A great gun for a kid. I want to make it clear here. This is a new gun. It was sent to Marlin only to mill in a 10MOA angle on the scope base, so the scope can remain just about center at 100 yards. rifle is capable of 300-400 yard accuracy using a high velocity 22LR.

Since the early 1950s Marlin has used their proprietary Micro-Groove rifling in the Model 39A. This rifling uses many small lands and grooves rather than 2, 4, or 6 deeper grooves used by the majority of rifle makers. The rifling is also made to a 1 in 16" right hand twist. The combination of these two factors arguably adds to the accuracy of the rifle and indeed the 39A's reputation would seem to bear this out.
Alot of questions about dates of Manufacture. Look, you guys should know that Remington bought Marlin in January 2008.
The serial number to this gun is 9230199
All Marlins manufactured from 1969 to 1990:
The first two digits of the serial number designate the year of manufacture. the gun was manufactured in 1992, 16 years before Marlin was bought. Now Marlin is no better than Remington. It was a shame. The Remington 22LR's could not even compete with the Marlin. Why do you think Remington bought Marlin? Cause of the blistering market in 22's. It's all you'll be able to afford to shoot. Remington approached Ruger about their 22LR market and Ruger told them to get *%^&'ed. The offer to buy Marlin made to good to pass up.Made management rich.
