HG5838 Here is a fine specimen of the P38 pistol series, a CYQ coded pistol from the Spreeswerke Arsenal, 3300 range serial number with lower case scripted letter A number suffix. Barrel and frame are matching numbers; the slide is 6000 range number, and the magazine 2900 range. We estimate that it was manufactured in 1941. Bluing is immaculate throughout. Letters are sharp on the frame and barrel lug face; and since that is the case, and since original milling marks are still visible, we do not believe this P-38 has been reblued. Photos ought to enable our distinguished shoppers to judge that for themselves, as well as finish grade. It is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. This Walther is not import marked, and we got it from an active duty serviceman who is presently stationed in Kansas. We are including a Colt War Era German Police Holster.
