GR151186 This listing is for one set of grips, from the same exact batch as the ones showing in the photos. Here is what made the limited edition Talo special 642-2 Airweight Centennial a Talo: the grips. These are specially cut dark black gray laminate, very much contoured like the presently issued rubber boot grips that come on J frame Smith & Wessons like the model 642. Photos show one of the revolvers we had; it is long gone, not included, of course; and we are not advertising it for sale on this listing. The fewer than half dozen revolvers we had with these grips on them, left the Smith & Wesson factory in late 2011. These special edition grips allow as firm hold as possible with optimal compactness and shortness of the grip frame. They are some of the most attractive, good feeling, and positive gripping stocks ever sold for the J Frame. Note the checkering pattern, with the factory Logo in raised relief between the screw and the butt. We are offering these for sale by pulling them off the identically numbered revolvers, we know of no other way that they are even available.
