It was advertized and being a select version of Mosin Nagants as it contains a light trigger and accurate barrel as well as bent-down bolt. A P8 scope is welded on. There are distinct markings and serial #'s I am not aware of please refer to the pictures. Comes with bayonet, strap, oil can kit, etc. As for performance I personally was able to put together 1/2" groups using Norma and Winchester rounds at 100 yds. Very accurate rifle in excellent condition. I fired both regular production model (straight bolt) rifles but this one is definitely more "special" and accurate. I was told that during production the Soviets would test and set aside the best and most accurate Nagants for sniper duty. I'm not sure if this one actually saw combat but its definitely smoking hot!!
