From years of storage in an old Western Warehouse comes these factory magazines to fit the excellent Savage model 340 series Rifles chambered in .225 Winchester and .30-30 Winchester. Manufacturer was Savage Arms of Westfield, MA, from 1950 until 1985. These magazines were made on the original Savage factory equipment. Construction is stamped and folded one piece blue steel body, with steel spring and chrome plated cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 3 rounds of .225 Winchester or .30-30 Winchester caliber ammunition. These magazines work in any model 340 series Savage Rifle. The Western Auto Revelation model 225, the Sears models 101.53521and model 101.53527, the Coast to Coast model 843, the Springfield model 840, and the J.C. Penney model 6400 are all of them Savage 340s, so it will work if the rifle is chambered in either .225 or .30-30 Winchester caliber. This magazine will NOT work in a Remington 788; will NOT work in a Savage chambered in any other caliber; and will NOT work on a Wacker Neuson Gas Breaker jackhammer. It will only work on 340 series rifles manufactured by Savage Arms and chambered in .225 Winchester or .30-30 Winchester caliber.
