We grieved for two years over Rossi switching from their lovely Goncalo stocks to the present synthetic. The very thing we have long objected to helps the recoil, the synthetic stock soaks up a significant amount of recoil because it is pliable. Gauges, of course, is 20 ga 2 3/4 or 3 inch; barrel is 22 inch Modified Choke; Length of pull is only 12 1/2 inches. By comparison, the Rossis make their NEF or H&R Competitors feel like a 10 gauge.
