HG2844 From its AF serial number prefix, this steel frame Harrington and Richardson Model 733 Revolver left the factory in Worcester, Massachusetts during the first year after enactment of the 1968 Gun Control Act, 1969. It made its way to Lake County Ohio, to a good military home where it has spent its past few years. This is a somewhat ugly, but excellent quality, little US Made Steel Frame Revolver. Finish is blue steel, with original black polymer grips and blue steel trigger strut. Cylinder is smooth face, recessed rear face 9 shot, .22 Short, Long, or Long Rifle cartridges interchangeably. This little .22 is strong enough to handle hyper velocity .22s like Stinger and Aguila Super Max as well. Barrel is medium weight 2 1/2 inch pinned with steel rivet; smooth combat trigger and serrated spur hammer with floating firing pin. Type is traditional double and single action revolver, with transfer bar to guard against accidental discharge if the revolver is dropped. Weight empty is 20.6 ounces. Surface detractions are moderate, principally freckling on the blue and some browning on the never-blued sides of its hammer. We rate it as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Note that the rear cylinder face does not show any ping marks; this pistol’s owner had more sense than to dry fire it. We’re offering this fine little swingout Wooster H&R for only $ 239.00.
