Modified and engraved at Rigby, this new/unfired rifle was shortened for a woman. LOP is reduced to 12 inches (stock cut and drilled out for two mercury recoil-reduction tubes which were never added and recoil pad was never fitted). Barrel appears to have been shortened to 22 inches with the banded front ramp refitted. Trigger feels tuned. Floorplate is engraved with the Rigby "RR" logo in gold and surrounded by scroll. Owner initials are engraved in gold on the trigger guard. The "John Rigby & Co." script logo is engraved in gold on the barrel (followed by Paso Robles, CA). Both the caliber and express sight leaves (100/200/300) are also in gold. CZ square bridge action. Metal remains about 98%, with some thinning and freckling on/around barrel band and muzzle. Stock is about the same as shortened, with several small safe dings (largest at base of pistol grip). CZ indicates replacement stocks can be purchased as available for about $200, and trigger guards are about $75 and are available now. Price firm. Photo package by request. Layaway considered.
