It is a 59 (I believe) Browning Safari Grade. It of course has the hard to find long extractor and is pre-saltwood so no issues there. The original rust blue is excellent. I’ll say 97+% with only the slightest or wear at the muzzle. The wood has very nice grain and a few hunting marks. I’ll say 95%. These early 338’s are very hard to find. You could restore the wood and have a near perfect collector or you can use this one and still see it appreciate over time. It will make a nice addition to any collection.
