Spencer “Slide-Action repeater”, 12ga pump action shotgun made from 1882 to 1889. This fabulous antique has a 32”, modified choked barrel, roll marked “Spencer Arms Co. Windsor. Ct. U.S.A. Pat. Apr. 1882” We rate the overall bluing to be 70 to 80 percent original with an excellent bore. One very super-small ding 3.5 inches behind front sight bead. There is a small repaired crack in the grip area of the stock. The action has double set triggers and is in excellent mechanical condition. Pump, loads, and ejects great (tested with Azoom snap caps). This is a very fine example of what was considered to be America's first successful pump action shotgun. A extremely rare find and especially in this condition.
