ALLEN & THURBER .36 cal. percussion pepperbox, with a fluted 4 1/2" barrels, marked Worcester ALLEN & THURBER, ALLEN'S PATENT 1845. The frame and nipple collar have light engraving, and medal over all is brown patina, staining, and mild light pits near the opening of the nipple collar.The walnut bag shape grips are very good with light handling marks.
