This auction is for a Colt single action army. This gun includes a letter of authenticity directly from colt stating that the gun was originally shipped to the u.s. calvary in a lot of 200 guns dec 6th 1883. Unfortunately this gun was converted to a 38. special when we got it and it was originally a 45. caliber so we sent it out and got it converted back to original with a shorter barrel it now has a 5.5" inch barrel instead of the 7.5" it came with. it does not have the original grips on it. Also we are not sure when but this gun was nickel plated at some point so that explains the chrome on the gun. Despite this guns past it is still very old and extremely collectable. The blue book value of this gun in 10% condition is still $10,000
