The Sig 1911-22 is true to Browning's original pattern both dimensionally and in terms of operating controls while the internals have been carefully designed for reliable function with the .22 LR round. Sig's 1911-22 is blowback operated and features rugged all metal construction (frame and slide), finished in matte black. Most controls also sport a black matte finish, with the exception of the hammer, which is left in the white. An arched, grooved mainspring housing, skeletonized Commander style hammer and grooved trigger, extended ambi thumb safeties, and Sig-branded custom dark wood pebble-texture grips ensure sure and easy handling. The two dot rear sight assembly is a beveled low mount unit. A prominent bead is mounted on the front blade sight. Both front and rear sights are dovetailed into the slide, and 4 extra front sight blades of different heights are included. The patent-pending black single-stack 10-rd magazine appears to have a steel body and is built like the proverbial brick outhouse. The gun also features an internal magazine-disconnect safety. A collection of wrenches, extra front sight blades, cleaning brush, and dry-fire snap cap round out the accessory kit. Made entirely in Germany, the finish and overall workmanship on this gun are outstanding. This is a great deal on an accurate and very high quality auto-pistol which you can't afford to miss!
