The lock plate is marked for “RUSS HAMM”. 41 ¼” barrel is unmarked. Beautiful stock with bone inlay and brass covered patch box. 41” octagon barrel is in good condition. The surface shows signs of aging; Oxidation present. Bore appears to be generally clean with a very good muzzle. Front brass blade sigh; rear fixed notch sight. As mentioned previously the Lock Plate is marked for “RUSS HAM”; It is nicely engraved and shows signs of patina. Hammer works properly; Cocks back and holds; Snaps forward with excellent force. Nipple is very good and clean. The stock is beautiful! It remains in very good+ condition showing no signs of breaks or cracks. There is some exquisite carving on left side; Bone inlay on both shoulder stock and top of neck. There is a brass covered patch box on the right side of the stock in perfect working order. Ramrod is shorter than the barrel leading me to believe it is a replacement.
