Complete and total coverage of the factory French grey receiver, trigger guard, tang, latch and forend hardware is painstakingly executed and signed by master engraver 'R.Reimer'. Pheasants in a wooded scene on the left side and ducks in a wooded marsh on the right are deep relief engraved and surrounded by floral scroll. Two quail in flight are featured on the bottom with 2 rabbits on the trigger guard. Workmanship like this is rarely seen.
English walnut with a vividly contrasting dark grain and a special order factory oil finish is used for the straight grip stock and the forearm. The checkering design and execution are unparalled.
This item comes in a factory black with red accents, leather trimmed, Browning take-down luggage case with brass corner protection, two combination locks, a brass Browning name-plate and dove grey fur lining. This case is correct to the 1973 manufacture date of the shotgun and in near perfect condition.
