Factory Product code on this Beretta .22 LR NEOS is JU2S60B, single action semi-auto target pistol, 6 inch heavy barrel with full length picatinny or weaver type base that houses a U-shaped white outline blade, windage and elevation adjustable rear sight with red insert front sight. Upper Assembly, slide and barrel are matte blue steel with easily disassembling polymer grip frame. Mechanism features a frame mounted slide release for right-hand shooter; and a fully ambidextrous lever safety. Weight empty is a well balanced 36 ounces. This named model U22 NEOS pistol comes with a total of two stainless bodied 10-round magazines. It closely follows the lines of the Classic Beretta Model 76 Target Pistol, always a strong rival to the Smith & Wesson Model 41. As far as competing with the Smith & Wesson 22-A pistols, we bet our money on the Beretta NEOS. A magnet will stick to its barrel and slide, not the case with the S&W.
