Here is a specimen of Smith & Wesson's Military & Police black gun series, the MP40 Standard 209300 variant with one 15 round magazine, and magazine safety. It is in its original box with replacement grip frame backstrap pieces, instruction manual, fired brass envelope, and never-executed factory registration card. Sights are Novak style three dot. Weight empty, no magazine, is 24 1/4 oz; weight fully loaded will be a bit over 35 ounces. Overall length is 7 1/2 inches; 5 1/2 inch height; and very nice thin 1.2 inch width. Barrel length is 4 1/4 inches with a 6.4 inch sight radius. This pistol, like all M&Ps, is full time double action, striker fire action, with a very consistent 6.5 pound trigger pull that only travels .300 inches from rest to fire and resets in only .14 inches. Frame is Zytel Polymer, and barrel and slide are Black Melonite finished stainless. The frame, as the photos of the only specimen we have shows, incorporates a Picatinny Weaver type rail for light and laser mounting. It has a firing pin and trigger safety, but no magazine safety. This pistol, then, will fire a live round without the magazine in battery. The M&P series takes all comers for ease of handling, positive feel, and reliability and consistency under the most adverse field and combat situations. This pistol was never out of Smith & Wesson Corporate Custody until we got it. It has been one of Smith & Wesson’s showgirls, a show sample. We do not believe it has been fired since its initial firing session in 2012. We classify it as Near Mint in Box, but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. This M&P .40 209300 variant commands retail prices in our area of $800 or more. We're offering this one, however, for only $ 489.00 Not transferable to civilian residents of California or the District of Colombia. For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where the 15 round magazines are restricted to law enforcement, $20 off but no magazines. Ten shot magazines are often available direct from Smith & Wesson. Affected jurisdictions include Chicago Cook County IL, Hawaii, Massachusetts, and New York. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $15 lower 48; $40 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
