PK476 Here is a product of Imperial Knife Company, one of its Ranger series styled on the order of its better quality Schrade Medium Stockman, same size as a 6318 Case, for shoppers who were inept on knife quality. Construction is interesting; each blade has its own backspring, and the nickel plated steel bolsters are hollow. Handle panels are white serrated, similar to Old Timers and Bucks of the period. Overall length is 3 1/4 inches. The main California Clip blade measures 2 1/2 inches. The owner sharpened it flat, and all three blades exhibit extensive scouring from being flat-sharpened. All three blades, however, are within 10 to 15 percent of their original width. This Ranger was a middling priced knife, and the parent company also made the much better Schrades of the period.
