Douglas Barrel stamped 30-06 (XX) top steel, A custom made stock with cheek rest, Red Recoil Pad Old English by Mershon, Leupold One Piece Scope Mount and a Leupold VariX II 3-9X40 scope. This gun is like new with the bore on the Douglas Rifle Clear and clean with all lands and grooves showing. The bluing is 100% and the deep black/blue. The action is the 401B G33-40 Mauser and is so smooth. The barrel is bedded tight and smooth. The stock cost over $2,000 the wood a beautiful piece as you can see in the pictures. The scope well Leupold is the best and this gun all together would cost you over $4,000 to put together if you could find the action and the master gunsmith to make it for you. JK Cloward is a master gunsmith in Seattle, WA for those of you who want to know more about him. This gun is out of the estate of Nick Matchett former Marine Sniper, Black Ops Vietnam, and a Customs Inspector and Firearms Instructor over 20 years my former hunting companion.
