Here is a very attractive, 'way above average complete set of 90% Silver Washington Quarter, 1932 through 1964. They are in a well worn but deluxe grade Whitman Holder that is copyrighted 1960 and dates from that period. A few of the specimens may have been cleaned, for example the 32-D, the 35-S, 37, 37-S, 18, and 39-S. These have, if that is true, developed toning since that time. Key 1932-D and S coins have fully legible dates and Liberty word, even though the motto is not legible on 1932-D. Motto is legible on all other coins on the first page, 1932 – 1940-D. We classify the 32-D as Good to Very good, and many of the coins on the first page are Fine to Very Fine by our estimate. 1940 is Extremely Fine. Second page of the set, 1940-S to 1947-D, runs Fine to Very Fine; and the 1941 and 1946 perhaps go Extremely Fine. Third page, 1947-S through 1954-S has Fine to Very Fine specimens with the 1948, 1951, 1952-D, and three 1954 coins appearing Extremely Fine. 1948, 1952-D, and 1952-D all show mint luster. Third page, 1955 through 1964-D all rate Very Fine to Almost Uncirculated by our estimate. We will try and include sufficient photos so that prospective buyers can at least check our grading.
