Gorgeous Turkish walnut. Rich dark reddish-brown with strong depth and contrast. The blank was quarter-sawn for similar figure on both sides of stock. For end was carved from the same blank as the butt stock. Carved by Wenig in ‘07. Used very little. High-gloss oil finish. Standard #3 stock dimensions. LOP is 14 ½” over Pachmeyer recoil pad, DAC is 1 5/8” to 2 1/8”, DAH is 2 1/2”, 1” down pitch on recoil pad. Slight cast off for right-handers.
