This exquisitely engraved Colt Single Action Army, .45 Colt, was shipped to Hartley & Graham, New York, April 1, 1882, with 50 other guns (according to the Colt letter accompanying gun). It has a 5.5" barrel, has been non-factory engraved and nickeled sometime prior to 1975. The engraving is very good quality. The steer head grips (carving on the right grip) are of Mastodon ivory, with real ruby eye. No information is available as to the source of the engraving. The gun is in good working condition, and as refinished, in near mint condition. We can take VISA or MasterCard for an additional 2% fee.
