This is as close to a 100% gun as you can get! This gun was sold at the 1963 at the GAH. A collector friend while attending attending a Grand American Handicap event observed a man carrying this gun over his shoulder and asked if it was for sale, The reply was yes, It had been bought for his wife. She shot a few rounds of trap and decided it was not for her. My friend bought it and with it came the original box and packing. A year or so later my friend had Keith Houghtling of the Ithaca factory fit a Dollar Grade butt stock to it and that is how it is today. My friend never shot the gun as he was primarily a collector of high conditioned American and Browning shotguns. Advancing age requires all of us to down size at some point and this is the case here. I shot the gun two times and it functions perfectly. Comes with the original box. Certainly a collectors delight but will serve its original purpose well.
