Most will agree the Fox Sterlingworth 16ga. is the best value for a fine small gauge vintage American double in today's marketplace. Always built on the 20ga. frame, the Fox 16ga. guns are light, balanced, and dynamic. In Parker terms, this is the magical 16ga. on the "0" frame that Parker guys are always clamoring for and paying extra to boot. There are a lot of Sterlingworth 16ga. guns available to buy, but literally none like this one, as it is near new and is equipped with very hard to find ejectors. This Philly made Sterlingworth, sn364093 built in 1928, retains 99% factory vivid case color, 99% factory blue, 85% factory trigger guard blue, and excellent wood finish and checkering. YOU JUST DON'T EVER SEE FACTORY ORIGINAL GUNS LIKE THIS. Shipped with 28" #3 weight barrels choked M/F, weighing 6lbs. 2oz. and balanced perfectly in hand, this little Sterlingworth has it all; super high original condition, 28" barrels, ejectors, good stock dimensions with 14 1/4" LOP to the factory butt plate and only 2 11/16" drop at heel. The original wood finish was badly crackled so we did restore the original factory wood. You won't have another chance at a fine Fox like this for a very long time, so don't hesitate or she will be gone and in someone else's safe instead of yours. Thanks for looking!
