Manufactured in 1886. Octagon barrel, poorly cut down to about 21 3/4". Most likely was a 24" barrel. Cut is not quite 90 degree. Cresent metal buttplate, gun appears all original. Brown patina over all metal, age appropriate wear/marks on stock. Marked Kings Improvement. No cracks in wood. Most screw heads show scredriver marks. Bore shows moderate pitting, visible rifling.
