Here is a fine shooter with a very scarce round barrel. It was born in 1914 (serial #515xxx) and had the barrel replaced sometime in the '20's or '30's. It was done by a gunsmith, as you can just see the mail order proof next to the receiver. It held a scope at some time, evidenced by three holes drilled and tapped in the top rear of the barrel (one covered by the rear sight). It looks as if the inner magazine tube was replaced at the same time as the barrel, and there looks to be some extra varnish on the butt stock. The barrel is like new, inside and out. So if anyone wants a model '90 which shoots just like new, this is the gun to get.
