I actually believe this is an early Jarrett rifle, before they made their own actions and complete rifles, but I can't confirm that. Kenny's folks can only check records by the customer's name who ordered the rifle, and I can't remember the doctor's name who I bought it from 5 or 6 years ago after his return from an Alaskan hunt. Oh well. In any event, the rifle is smooth and accurate, and shot any of the 8 or 10 loadings I used in under an inch. If I kept it, I would handload either Accubonds or the Winchester Tipped Trophy Bonded and get it down to a 1/2" rifle with one of those loads. The metalwork on this rifle is matte stainless, and I sprayed the McMillan stock in a textured paint with several coats of clear over the finish for protection. The rifle has a Timney trigger, and breaks cleanly s you would expect. The Leupold VariX-III in 3.5x10x40 is not included in the price, but is available to the buyer for $275 if desired. The Conetrol rings and bases are included with the rifle.
