Description: Up for sale is a 1979 Smith & Wesson Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman in .357 Magnum. This 28 is a "N" serial that's desired by all collectors. The revolver features a 6” pinned barrel, S&W factory grips, case hardened target hammer, case hardened serrated trigger, and adjustable rear sight. It has all the desirable features no longer found on current Smiths: It has the square butt grip frame, a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder, the firing pin is on the hammer. . The finish is beautiful with a very light turn line, but the grips do have some wear, please refer to all pictures. The action is nice, the timing is perfect, and the bore is shiny and bright.
