Grip screws are NOT included, but we frequently have them available. From 20 some odd years of storage with the Swiss State Police come these never issued walnut grips to fit Sig Sauer model P228 Pistols. They will also fit the very similar model P229s, no matter whether the 229 is chambered in 9mm, .357 Sig, or .40 S&W Caliber. From the original trade, of which we got several dozen of the parent pistols, date codes on the Swiss Police 228s ranged from late 1980s to late 1990s. We estimate, then, that these grips were taken off 20 some odd years ago. Manufacturer was J.P. Sauer & Sohn Gmbh of Suhl, Germany, or one of its sub contractors. Material is European Walnut, with cut checkering and plain oil finish. Surface detractions are minimal to negligible, and buyer will receive one of the sets from the photos. The Indiana domiciled P229 is not included, but we have it for sale on a separate listing. Replacement pricing on similar grips often approaches $200 per set.
