The rifle shoots well and has been 100% reliable. It's painted gloss Ruger grey with Alumahyde II and has some of the darker blue-grey original finish on the bolt, receiver cover and other small parts. It will accept SKS stripper clips for loading the magazine when the bolt is locked back. And the bolt locks back after the last round fired from the magazine.
