Excellent overall condition. Action works correctly and is tight and could be shot if one wanted to experience history from 150 years ago. Generous amount of bluing is still present in protected areas. Lock up of cylinder is very good. Grips are very nice rosewood with no chips or cracks, and are serial numbered to the gun. These were very popular back in the day and are accurate across card table ranges. Barrel measures 3-1/8 inches in length, overall length of the revolver is approximately 6-3/4 inches. Barrel is decent with good rifling. 7 shot cylinder is nice and clean with good bores. Serial numbers are all matching (95920) and dates this from approximately 1869 – 1870. These were carried by gamblers and those desiring a small “hide out” protection piece. An excellent condition early Rollin White patent Smith, ideal for a collection and an old west piece of history!
