John's uncle is the legendary gunsmith Armand Swensen- a truly renowned man who is well known for his contributions to the 1911 pistol smithing community. During the course of his normal business John had been contracted by Valtro Stocchetta of Italy as a consultant helping them to improve the quality and reliability of their firearms.
