Very nice Smith & Wesson I frame .22/32 "Bekeart type" target revolver in .22 L.R. with 6" barrel. With a serial number of 16400X, it was probably shipped around 1912. Cylinder Locks up tight, has adjustable target sights and target stocks with "2088" on the bottom of the grips. Blueing is approximately 92-95% with somewhat splotchy blueing in front of the cylinder, the topstrap and inside the grip frame. Other than that very nice, deep blueing. The rifling is good, but their appears to be some pitting in a small patch in the center of the barrel. However, it does shoot 2" groups at 25 yards with Ely target ammo. This has been in the family for a number of years. Comes with a full flap holster in very good condition. Holster was made by F.O.K. and Co. (Gilt Edge). Holster is labeled in black ink (not very noticeable) with a name and "Rochester, Minn".
