Here is the pistol that propelled Kel-Tec to respectability, the P-11 standard black in 9mm caliber with 10 shot magazine. These are lightweight, only 14 oz empty, less heavy than a Smith & Wesson Airweight. They're very simple and durable, full time double action with internal hammer block safety device. Sights are clear definition white three dot. Barrel is 3.1 inch, and the barrel dips down during operation for a clean pickup of the next round. Our good friend Lawrence L. has tried to make his Kel-Tecs jam without success. The P-11 is the old workhorse, not as thin as its younger siblings the P-9Fs, but it will accept any Smith & Wesson 5900 type magazine, yielding 15 rounds of firepower.
