This is not a Remington PSS that is built to look like the M24, this is a 100% correct "US" marked M24 direct from Remington. There are few of these rifle offered for sale to the public and will indeed be a collector's piece. From the Remington website: "Since its adoption by the US Army, the M24 is the standard by which all other military grade sniper rifles are judged. The M24 is world renowned as a long-range precision sniper system capable of enduring the harshest of military environments to include extreme high altitude and the depths of the ocean. The M24 is a combat proven force multiplier serving the US Army with honor and distinction against our nation’s enemies; past, present and future. The M24 is based on the legendary Model 700™ and 40X™ rifles which are famous for their “out-of-the-box” accuracy. This high degree of accuracy is combined with the extremely rugged aramid fiber - reinforced fiberglass stock featuring an aluminum-bedding block. This provides the operator with the unheard of ability to remove and return the barreled action without loss in zero (within ½ minute of angle). The rifle has had a documented 55 rounds fired through it an was meticulously broken in using a shoot one, clean one method for the first 20 rounds.
