The metal surfaces retain 90% refinished with what appears to be black paint with minor scuffs and scratched overall. The original forend and buttstock have been refinished in the past and rate very good to excellent with a few minor bruises. I have shot a few 22 shorts through this rifle to make sure of function, overall this rifle is in very good to excellent refinished condition. The black paint could easily be removed, too bad someone altered such a rare piece. Please look closely at pictures for details.
