This 3 screw, Super Blackhawk was shipped with the brass frame on it and can be confirmed by serial number by looking in John Dougan's "Ruger Pistols & Revolvers: The Vintage Years 1" or by contacting the Ruger Records Department. The Ruger is in very nice shape as I would rate it around 97% plus. It shows some very light wear on the cylinder and a few minor dots of freckling on the end of the barrel and side of front sight. It has the Ruger high polish finish and has not had the safety bar installed. Comes with Ruger 2 piece Super Blackhawk box and shipper (no paperwork). The box has great finish but has a couple split corners (could be easily fixed). It also shows a ding in the side (see pic) and the shipper does as too. Not many Super Blackhawks will letter as being shipped with the brass frame as most were added as an accessory. This is a very nice package and would make a great addition to any collection.
