Description: Many times sets of Franklin Halves advertised as BU turn out not to be as good as this set. We always photograph our sets individually, and describe them individually. There is no extra charge, either, for our historical remarks. The move to wholesale Great White Father imagery on our common coins began, of course, in 1909 when our second strong non-founding President, Theodore Roosevelt, presided over the placement of the first strong one's – Lincoln's – on the penny. That was the first move to remove the Indianized Liberty image. The last coin to have Liberty deleted was, of course, this one, the Half Dollar, beginning with Franklin's likeness in 1948. We wonder what Franklin would think supplanting Liberty Herself on our coinage. This is a complete set consisting almost entirely of high grade Franklin Halves, including all specimens from 1948 through 1963, a total of 35. On our view, only 1949-D and 1959-D could be challenged as to Extremely Fine grade. Those two, 1949, 1949-S, and 1953 might possibly be cleaned coins, but we only suspect 1949-D as cleaned. 1948 is dark, but has superb XF details. That leaves 29 of the Franklins with mint luster, as the photos show. Note that 1961 is a BU Proof. We have included as many photos as possible so that shoppers can check our grading. This set comes in a very nice, leather-grained Archival Quality Littleton Custom Folder. Buyer will receive the exact coins in the photo. Note that we have included a BU 1964 Kennedy to fill the last slot. Own this exceptional set of Franklins for only $ 419.95 Prices are based on a silver spot price on the Comex exchange of $30.00 or less per ounce. If the Comex exceeds $30.00, we reserve the right to raise the price. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 flat fee shipping for any size, any combination coin order lower 48, USPS Registered or Priority Mail, insured for full value. $50 to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
