Construction is steel barrel, bolt assembly, and internal parts assembled into a lightweight technopolymer receiver housing and stock assembly. Operation and ejection is fully ambidextrous. Barrel is nitride finish 1:7 six groove right hand light type, with six flute cage brake attached to its 1/28 threads with a crush washer. Barrel and bolt system are readily interchangeable with .22 LR, .300 Blackout; and even 6.8 SPC II, 5.45×39 and 7.62×39 that are on the Italian drawing boards. , Stock and receiver assembly are graphite base 4 piece black polymer. Sight system includes a quad rail system, with 4 slot picatinny lower, 9 slot Picatinny lateral rails, and a 40 slot Picatinny Upper Main Rail that houses detachable, flip-up elevation adjustable post front sight and metered six position dial aperture rear sight. Ejection and bolt handle are reversible ambidextrous. Magazine release is 3 position ambidextrous. Safety is ambidextrous. Pistol grip is single finger groove serrated rear with checkered surface laterals. Trigger is .400 smooth faced polymer, and this rifle pulled single stage at 6 1/2 pounds with moderate felt creep and extensive overtravel. Magazine is factory Beretta 30 round alloy, and this rifle accepts any AR15 type magazine. Buttstock is four position retractable right side folding; length of pull is 10 1/2 inches compacted forward and 13 inches fully extended, with a checkered surface butt plate. Sling swivels are two point forward on the gas assembly, with twin lateral receiver bars. Overall length is 26 1/2 inches folded, and 36 inches fully extended. Weight empty is 7 pounds 7 ounces, with center of gravity just forward of the magazine well. This rifle has pulled light display duty, likely with Beretta’s sales force.
