Extremely rare experimental Pistol from Remington Rand
The Serial # is ERRS 14,the Initials CET are above the Number and are the Initials of the Employee who was given the Gun during WW II.The Name will be funrished to the buyer.
The owner was a Security Guard/incharge of Security at the Factory back in the War years.( According to the Nephew, (from whom the gun was aquired ) The S/N #and Initials are engraved,Not Stamped.These guns were made in Liverpool,NY
More info can be obtained from"Standard Catalog of Military Firearms,3rd Edition ,2005:ERRS "...These guns were give to Contracted personel and employees ,how ever several remained in a Company Vault long after WWII,until they were eventually sold.
No inspector ,unnumbered slide.The only frame markings is a two or three number digit with the ERRS,which meant Experimental Remington Rand, It has a Parkerized Finish.
