Arisaka 6.5mm type 30 called the Hook Safety, with a 31.5" barrel and good strong rifling, and pits in the grooves from using corrosive primers on military ammo. The two piece stock is good good, with typical wartime dings, and scrapes. Has a type 38 rear sight, and all medal parts match in color, with patches of fine pits in areas, but not deep pitting.Has a MUM on the receiver, and with a Tokyo maker mark on the side, with serial numbers. Action works good, and a rare gun!Metal on the gun is average for it's age, dark smooth brown patina, but the bolt that works good has deep pits in the handle, and toward the back of the bolt body. Looks like the bolt may have been stored out of the gun! Because of age not sure it's a shooter.Various stampings in the stock!Several photos listed. OUR DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE. WE HAVE A THREE DAY INSPECTION ON ALL PURCHASES!
