Here is Mec-Gar’s highest capacity magazine for Smith & Wesson 59 series pistols chambered in 9mm, that is still anywhere near flush fitting. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar, s.r.l., of Gussago, Italy. Importer and warrantor is Mec-Gar USA of Meriden, CT. Mec-Gar is the principal magazine supplier of factory magazines for Browning, Kel-Tec, Sig-Sauer, and Smith & Wesson. Construction is one piece steel body with smooth milled back and round count ports, steel spring and inner plate; and with black polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Finish is dark bright blue. Each magazine holds 17 rounds of 9mm ammunition, yet they are flush fitting, as the photos show. These magazines will fit any 59 or 69 series Smith & Wesson 9mm, including models 59, 459, 559, 659, 910, 915, 5903, 5904, 5926, 5926, 5976, and 5986, including the TSW variants. They will fit compact model 69 series that accept double stacked magazines, including models 469, 669, 6904, 6906, 6926, and 6946; as well as a Daewoo DP51, but they will protrude from the grip frames of the smaller pistols. They will fit a Marlin Camp 9 Carbine. They will kit Kel-Tec model P11 Pistols and Sub-2000 rifles, but only the rifles that were designed from S&W 59 / 5900 magazines. Star 28 and 30 models are iffy, and require removal of the Star’s magazine safety. They will not fit any other firearms that we know of.
