HG5011 A small new company from Millington, Tennessee, manufactured several of these for EMF Hartford. Here is one of their 1911A1 pistols with several additional features not found on the contract EMF pistol, a variant somewhat on the order of a Delta Colt. Specs are Single Action Government Series 70 type with no firing pin safety; US walnut traditional diamond pattern grips. Finish is military type matte blue; curved serrated B type mainspring housing; stainless standard type grip safety; stainless extended serrated main safety; serrated skeleton stainless match trigger with overtravel adjustment; stainless match bushing; and stainless barrel. Sights are medium height blue steel rear with stake-on half moon front. With the dozen some odd stock specimens we have, average trigger pull is a bit over 5 pounds with negligible felt creep. This pistol comes with an instruction manual, one year factory warranty statement, two ACT-Mag 8 shot magazines, and hard case. This specimen is one of several that we sent back for service, and it has fitting whitening on the left rear side of the frame next to the grip safety. When we first got it from C.O. Arms, it wouldn’t even feed ball ammunition. After only one return, however, it feeds and cycles flawlessly. This pistol has never been papered to any individual, and it is under C.O.
