Made in 1882 the 24 inch barrel has the correct Winchester blade front sight, rear sight is a Winchester #22E with serrated sides. The bore is very good, much better than normally found on the 1873s, good solid rifling with light frosting, I don't see any significant pitting, rate the condition 6+ to 7 on a 1-10 scale. Receiver is intact with all parts and operates smoothly. The wood is very good+, tight and solid, no cracks, chips, heavy dents or extra holes, actually well above average for the age of the rifle.
